THE EXPERIENCE
Quiet focus, useful conversations, distinctly Kyoto settings
Open a laptop on tatami in a temple hall, work alongside another engineer in a machiya townhouse, or trade practical knowledge at a university or civic venue.
Some sessions are mostly quiet work; others include short talks or conversation. The format changes, but participants can choose how much they engage.

Kyoto has technology companies, universities, research institutions, startups, and long-established local businesses, but people across those worlds do not automatically meet repeatedly.
Miyako de IT keeps that point of contact open through recurring study groups, co-working sessions, and community events.
FIRST VISIT
You do not need to arrive with a network
A mokumoku-kai is a co-working study session where each participant brings their own work or learning task and shares the space without forced networking.
