Open a laptop on tatami in a temple hall, work alongside another engineer in a machiya townhouse, or trade practical knowledge at a university or civic venue.
You may spend most of the session working silently, join a short discussion, or stay for an informal conversation afterward. The format changes, but respect for each participant's pace does not.

Can I come alone?
Yes. Solo attendance is normal, and each event begins with enough orientation for newcomers to settle in.
What is a mokumoku-kai?
It is a co-working study session where participants bring their own programming, reading, writing, or study task and work quietly in the same space.
How much does it cost?
